Celtic Design Studio Products
since 1995

Greetings, Thank you for taking the time to visit Celtic Design Studio Products on Electric Scotland.

Your interest in our Scottish and Scots-Irish culture, is shared.  I have been studying Scottish Heraldry since the late 1960's, the encouragement by Banks McLaurin during that time was much appreciated by the son of a West Texas stockman.  My first and now long gone heraldic digital art was created on a "Fat Mac" using MacDraw  in 1985,  It was great!  but there was not much you could do with it.

The kitchen hobby became a vocation in 1995 when the Apple Macintosh Computer's print capability finally caught up to the manufacture of apparel and other gift items.  It was also during this time as Pipe Major of the "Texas Highland Pipes and Drums" that I  showed my clan artwork to various Clan Tent Representatives and Vendors at "The Games".  The result, CDSP is now producing a wide variety of quality products from Digital Clan artwork, who knows what technology will bring in the next ten years.

Nowaday's I create and print all the artwork and products in my large studio, in Lubbock, Texas USA.  If your clan is not available, please let me know.  I will do the artwork and offer our products in your Clan.  I constantly update Clan artwork  when changes are made in Badge or Tartan by the Chief.  Recent examples of changes include the Clan Wallace Badge, and the Hunter of Hunterstone Tartan.  I work primarily with Clan Society Members, Clan Chiefs, Commissioners and other reputable people accomplishing this task.  My secondary sources are numerous Clan reference books published pre WWII in Great Britain.  And of course the Internet.  I welcome suggestions and comment on the subject from knowledgeable parties.

Personalization of our products by use of Alternate Spellings or Sept Names is offered for a small additional fee.  Our default spelling is the Clan Chief preference.  All of our items are custom manufactured, with a typical delivery time being 2 - 3 weeks for Apparel and Gifts, 3 - 4 weeks for Jewellery.   Even if you don't get your CDSP product personalized, we will still give you personal service.  I hope you are delighted enough in the products you see to make a purchase.
