The picture is of me at the well in St Peter's
Church in the countryside of Anitoch, Turkey. This church/cave was built
into the rocky hillside no later than the 4th century (tile dating) but
could have been considerably earlier. St Peter was the first missionary in
the area. The walls of the church and the garden outside just reeked with
the prayers of the ages. It was truly wondrous.
