The Family Tree - February/March 2004
Scottish Weekend

Here are a wee bunch of pictures from the Scottish Weekend.  Today (Friday) was setup day with an informal gathering on the Friday night.

I am staying with Woody and this is his house and area

Jinx was selected to pick me up in the morning and when I got there the book man was already setting out his room

Harriet on the left and the main library area with reception on the right

On the left my favourite eating place and on the right the side entrace to the library

and this is the front of the library

My favourite spot (where the smokers gathered) and entrance to the children's section

Everone working hard getting things ready for Saturday :-)

Head of the Odom Library in person!

And now the party at night where as usual we arrived just in time to join the end of the queue for the food!

Just like any good Scottish party everyone was invited up to take a turn at singing, telling a story, joke or poem.  The list picture above is of Mel Gay and Woody who is putting me up while I'm in Moultrie.

And Beth Gay herself who as usual is moving so fast the camera can't keep up :-)

Two wee eight year olds also did a turn

And the professional entertainers were also there to lend a hand :-)

And at the end we all stood to sing Auld Lang Syne
