CLAN MacLELLAN TO BE HONORED CLAN

 AT ESTES PARK, CO GAMES

 

Clan MacLellan’s Southwest Region will host the 2005 annual Board and General Membership meetings at Long’s Peak Festival, Estes Park, CO September 9th – 11th. All MacLellans (whatever spelling) and their descendants are encouraged to attend. Director Jill Burt has made arrangements for a block of rooms at The Inn at Estes Park and has planned exciting events both before and after the Board and General Membership meetings. See www.innatestespark.com  On Wednesday, Sept 7, there will be a day of hiking and shopping followed on Thursday by a driving tour of the area. The evening meal will be at Dunraven. Friday the Board of Directors meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Inn at Estes Park. In addition to members of the Board, any member of Clan MacLellan is welcome to attend. On Friday evening the group will attend the Estes Park Military Tattoo. Tickets may be purchased on line at www.scotfest.com. Saturday will see MacLellans head up the Festival Parade. The annual membership meeting time will be announced and will be held on the festival grounds. Festival events will continue on Sunday, culminating with an evening meal at Claire’s Restaurant. Another day hike will take place on Monday. Director Burt reminds participants to bring warm clothing, good shoes for walking, and to drink lots of water both prior to coming and during you stay since elevation is 7,500 feet in Estes Park.
