Ingredients:
6 oz butter or margarine, softened
6 oz white sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tablespoons treacle
9 oz self raising flour
1 tablespoon (heaped) of cinnamon
Directions:
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
2 Cream together butter and sugar.
3 Mix in egg and treacle, blending well.
4 Mix flour and cinnamon; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
5 Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased tray.
6 Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
