Bread Recipe

Just figured I might as well add to your list if not make a note.  I make a batch of 4 loaves every week or so.  This will make 4 standard bread pans or 12" pizzas.  Easy to cut in half or double.

6 cup flour
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon of salt
4 cups of water

Start yeast and sugar in 1/2 a mug of warm water, gives you a couple minutes to get flour, oil, and salt in the bowl.

When yeast has risen to the top of the mug, add to bowl.  Add about 3 cups of water and knead.  You want sticky dough at this point.  Add a little oil as you go to keep it in a lump.

Dump on counter with a little more flour and knead until uniform.  Back into the bowl, cover with damp cloth, allow to double.

Punch down, divide into 4.  Allow to rise again in bread pans.

Bakes 30min at 350.

Thanks
Patrick Haryett
