Clan Turnbull
Winner of the "Best and Most Creative Clan Tent Award"
Gatlinburg Scottish Games & Festival 2004

Our many congratulations go to The Clan Turnbull for winning this award. Here is what the judges had to say...

Clan Turnbull at Gatlinburg Scottish Games & Festival, Gatlinburg, TN, USA, was the first place winner - hands down!  Their tent was a real garden gazebo with ivy "growing" on the fancy scrollwork.  They had flowers in a Turnbull Whisky decanter...a fully outfitted Turnbull bear, complete with handwrought targe and sword...along with the usual books and register book and refreshments.  Their display of Highland critters was attractive and brought young and old alike to smile and enjoy.  A friendly "reiving" of sheep from their neighbors, the Lockhart's, kept the day full of fun and laughter.  The Turnbull tent was filled with tartan and things Celtic...Turnbull memorabilia and Turnbull history.  Every inch of the tent had been well thought-out and planned.
