Eastbourne Scottish Pipe
Band was formed in 1898 and is reputed to be the oldest non military pipe
band in the country. It was formed by a Mr. George Brown ( a Tailor) and
Mr.Robert Campbell (a Baker). The band began its life in what was then the
Presbyterian Church in Blackwater Road Eastbourne
We are a non commercial Band who play around the County and Country
playing and Marching for loads of Charitable concerns, and our Pipe
Sergeant, Donald Brown, came 1st in the English
Championships at Knebworth for the "Solo Amateur March".
