Text Box: §The Wedgewood Jasper biscuit barrel from Charlotte McIntosh’s “Auntie Chat” (Charlotte Beat Crofts) who owned a pottery dealership in partnership with their grandmother, Jessie Hacket Beat McIntosh, in Dundee and gave her namesake this as her wedding present.  This was given to Charlotte’s granddaughter, Charlotte Alvoet Bleh on her wedding day to another sailor in Dundee.  This will be given to another granddaughter, Charlotte Eden Sample, on her wedding day, and is expected to be passed on to the first descendant of Charlotte McIntosh Thomas named Charlotte in the next and succeeding generations of McIntosh-Thomas daughters. §

§Charlotte and David’s baby, Carolina Bett Thomas (named after David’s mother and Charlote’s grandmother) would not be one year old until eight  days after David’s death in the North Sea Naval War, 1 November 1918. §
