The Working Life of Christina McKelvie MSP
An SNP Member of the Scottish Parliament
Christina McKelvie.msp@scottish.parliament.uk

Our many thanks to Christina McKelvie for volunteering to do a weekly diary for us which will give us an insight into the working life of a Scottish MSP.  As the SNP are now in power this should make for interesting reading.

Christina McKelvie MSP
Christina McKelvie MSPChristina
is a mother of two sons and was a Learning and Development Officer with Glasgow City Council Social Work Services. She is an active member of the party’s National Organisation Committee and has been continually involved in policy making forums within the Party’s National Council, Assembly and Conference.

Christina is an active member of Unison, workplace shop steward and is a delegate to the Glasgow Branch Committee. Christina is an activist for the rights of workers and people in Scotland in every sense of the word; she has the vision of an Independent, egalitarian, nuclear free Scotland where personal Independence for Scotland’s people is just as important for the cause of National Independence.

Christina is also Convener of the European and External Relations Committee.

After leaving us for a while Christina is once again taking up the challenge of resuming her weekly column with us but her old column is still here for you to read.
