There once was a man who was very very tall,
Who lived with his daughter, who was very very small.
They lived in a house with a cat and a dog,
A bird and a rabbit, a sheep and a hog.
There were no chairs big enough for the man
So he soon discovered that he needed a plan.
He went to the shops and searched all day;
Came home with a chair and a big bag of hay.
The daughter couldn’t find a bed that was small,
So she went with her father to the local mall.
They bought her a box and dumped the matches out
And a pillow and blanket filled with stuffing quite stout.
The cat and the dog slept in front of the fire.
The rabbit and the bird slept inside an old tire.
The sheep lay down on a bed of fresh straw,
And the hog slept and dreamed of pate de frois gras.
They all lived together, happy as can be.
You could say they were an unusual family.
the tall man, his daughter, very very small,
in their house with the animals; they loved them all.
