Buy
a pattern to make a stuffed animal. I use a sheep doll pattern because
there are so many sheep in Scotland. What could be more Scottish! The
patterns come with instructions for making clothes. Make the doll’s
dress from your tartan and use a scalloped-edged eyelet to make an apron
and pantaloons. Fill a tiny basket with small silk flowers and sew to
the lamb’s arm then glue a silk flower near her ear. Buy a bag of
small cowbells and tie one around her neck with a coordinating ribbon.
You can do this with bears or other animals you can dress.
