The Clan MacKenzie Society
in the Americas was organized on July 15th, 1974, at Grandfather Mountain,
North Carolina, with the purpose "to foster a greater interest among
MacKenzie descendants and its septs in the Clan MacKenzie and in Scottish
traditions." The Canadian branch of the society was formed in August 1986
and was created a Chapter shortly afterwards. The Canadian Chapter of the
Clan MacKenzie Society in the Americas is registered with the Revenue
Canada as a charity under the registration number 0884957-21.
Who May Join
Membership is open to all
Mackenzies, their septs, or any of their descendants, as well as anyone
who has an interest in the society.
