Solving a Problem

For those that are settled in a career
It comes as a shock to find it's all over
New technology has made you redundant
So it's time to look for another career.

"What can I do now" they ask themselves
What abilities do I have and how can I use them?
It seems my talents lie in the wrong directions
For a useful life in a high-tech era.

This is the problem for one and all
To live your life in a high-tech era
There is I regret no magic solution
But young folk take note of your education.

The system will surely change in time
But for now we can only grin and bare it
Generations to come will solve the problem
They'll blow themselves up with an atomic explosion!
