Noo coorie doon upon yer hunkers
An' haud yer wheest by the bunkers
Fer if Auld Nick hears ye greetin'
Ye kin be sure o' a helluva beatin'

Look oot! Look oot! Dinna shout!
The Bogey Man, Auld Nick, he's about!

Then when ye canna hear nae mair
Staun up, look roon an' run fair sair
Tae the ootside lavvy an' git yersel in
An' bolt the door withoot muckle din.

Then when ye've done an' flushed awa'
Run helter skelter back tae yer Ma.
