Ghosts of the Mist

As the mist rolls down the Highland glen
It brings with it Gregaraich men
Denied the right to exist
They now live mingled with the mist

People wonder if they’re man or ghost
As they shift about their murky host
A glimpse here and there all that’s seen
No evidence of where they’ve been

Enemies have need to fear
But for friends they’re always near
Those who took it all from them
Are made to pay some back again

They had to change their name
Deny their Kin
But they’re still MacGregors
Under the skin
