The Piper of Keil

I went to Keilhouse
to hear The Piper of Keil,
Scotland's best piper,
The Lord of the Reel.

I looked everywhere,
he couldn't be found.
But up from the earth
came the Keil Piper sound.

Please some one tell me
where's The Piper of Keil?
He's is deep in the earth
just playing his reel.

He boasted to the Wee Folk
that he could best play.
Now he's stuck in the caves
and must play night and day.
