Full-scale diagram of 'Area 6' straddling the fence near the entrance to Loanhead of
Daviot recumbent stone circle, one of Grampian's best-known neolithic sites, used
consistently through the Bronze Age as a sacred place of ritual. The monument is scheduled
and in Guardianship of Historic Scotland.
