So Saturday morning and Andy Anderson picked
me up for our morning picture shoot and the first picture was of the local
CalMac ferry...
And as you can see it was a beautiful sunny
day :-)
These pictures are from just up the road from
the Uig Hotel
These are all views around Trotternish and you
can just make out the hills of Harris in the Western Isles on the horizon
The picture to the right is of the Fairly Glen
This is where we clambered up and down the
hills to get a site of a nice wee waterfall
And that's Andy Anderson in the foreground. I
might add just as I was about to take the picture of the waterfall my wee
camera came up with the message... "Battery Exhausted" <arrghhh!!!>
And this is the building where Flora MacDonald
and Bonnie Prince Charlie entered when they reached the shore. It was the
barracks of the local soldiers.
