From St Andrews go north to Leuchars (Norman church,
castle). Turn west for Cupar (shopping). Continue via Auchtermuchty to Falkland (palace).
Optional extensions over Lomond Hills (fine view) to Loch Leven (nature reserve visitor
centre) or continue south-eastwards to East Neuk villages via Kellie Castlee: Pittenweem -
picturesque harbour, Anstruther - Fisheries museum, Crail - museum. Return to St Andrews.
