Angus coast and glens 125 miles (200KM)
From Dundee go north to Glen Clova via optional diversion to Blairgowrie (mill visitor centre, shopping). Take side roads on Grampian edge north-eastwards to Edzell Castle via Caterhuns (ancient hill forts - fine views). Continue north-eastwards via Fettercairn Distillery, then circle to coast (nature reserve at Fowlsheugh). Return southwards by Montrose (House of Dun nearby), Lunan Bay (fine beach) and Arbroath (museum).
