Blaikie,
Thomas |
|
The Bagatelle Garden in the Bois de Boulogne,
in Paris, includes what is now perhaps the most beautiful rose garden in
the world. It was begun in the 18th century by Blaikie, a Scot.
Blaikie worked with a great deal of imagination and the money of the Comte
d’Artois, brother-in-law of Marie Antoinette.
