I can trace my Scottish ancestry through my
grandparents Margaret McTavish Young an Dr. David McFarlane both of
Glasgow. My grandfather trained at Glasgow university at was a Surgeon
/Captain in the British expeditionary force in WW1. We came to Australia
when my father was working for the Australian government on loan and
decided to emigrate. I belong to the Clan McFarlane society here in
Victoria.
