My name is
John MacKinnon, born in Tecumseh
Ontario Canada. I am presently residing in Leamington Ontario Canada. I am
a retired Chief of Police, married for 47 years to Helen. We have 4
children and 9 grandchildren. My father and mother immigrated to Canada in
the 1920's. My father, Donald MacKinnon was born on the Isle of Barra. He
served in the Royal Navy in WW1. His father was Donald and his mother was
Mary Buchanan. My Mother was born on the Isle of South Uist. She was Mary
MacInnes. Together, my mother and father had 11 children. Note: Leamington
is the most southern point of Canada. Situate on Lake Erie, one of the
great lakes. |
