I guess because I read
history for my working life I really enjoy Science Fiction and Fantasy
for relaxation. Due to this interest I thought it would be fun to list
some of my favourite authors and give a wee bit of background as to why
I like them. So below you will find a list of authors and that
will link to a page about them.
The main test for me is
that I not only enjoy their books but can actually read them again with
just as much enjoyment.

Probably my favourite author of all.
Jack Bode
A little known Sci-Fi writer that I came across in Canada and in my
opinion deserves much greater recognition.
Nathan Lowell
This author first did pod casts but is now producing books.
Anne McCaffrey
The author of the Pern series and other books.
Saxon Andrew
A whole series of books taking us from the Pyramids to Outer Space and
Aliens.
C.R. Daems
Write both Sci-Fi and Fantasy books.
Al Past
Really enjoyed the Distant Cousin books.
Laurence E Dahners
The "Ell Donsaii" series of Sci-Fi, near
future high tech thrillers featuring a young heroine with a nerve
mutation that makes her faster and smarter.
Thomas DePrima
Jenetta Carver is a kind of Horatio Hornblower series but of course in
the future. |
