is particularly interesting to Family Tree readers...since Jim Mack Odom
was the husband of Ellen Payne Odom. Jim Mack predeceased Mrs. Odom, so,
childless, at her death, she left the proceeds from the sale of the Odom
land and home to the library in Moultrie for the purpose of building a
genealogical wing on the public library.
The Odom's donated
the land for this Colquitt County School.
