but as 3rd place runners up they do win a free years subscription to the
Burke's Peerage & Gentry online database and electronic magazine, Avatus.

to say...
Caledonian Society of New
York were chosen as prize winners simply because they used their tartan in
every way conceivable. It was obvious a lot of thought and care had gone
into the construction of what amounted to a "tartan tent" at Chatham, NY.
The interior was lined with tartan, the exterior was completely
tartan...everything was beautiful tartan! |
