dell'Ordine della Stella della Solidarieta' Italiana.
The accolade, bestowed in Edinburgh,
translates as Knight of the Order of the Star of Italian

Ms Fabiani, whose grandfather was from
Italy, said of her work to promote Scots-Italian links: "I never
thought of it as anything special. I've just been doing what I
think is right to be doing."
The honour, instituted by the Republic of
Italy in 1947, is awarded to citizens and foreigners for
distinguished service to the country or its culture.
