Have attached an article for you on reopening of restored Carnegie Free Library Thames NZ and the new Heritage & Genealogy Centre The Treasury now its home. Held last Saturday.

Think would be of great interest to Scots around the world because it is a Carnegie Library kept and restored. The Scots who came to Thames - some settling here. The Genealogy and Heritage facility will be a great help to those looking for Scottish Ancestors who came here in the gold mining & timber felling days. The amount of iron & steel that came to this area for railways, tramways mining equipment saw milling equipment, steamer boilers, etc. from England and America.
