The pound is being maintained at an artificially high
level to maintain London as a financial centre. The price for this policy
is being paid by the manufacturing industry and, therefore, particularly
Scotland which, unlike England, receives no compensating advantages.

Steal bank notes and you may have 30 years. We are a religious people and
we do not tolerate blasphemy towards Mammon whose high priests are the
bankers.
They are the money lenders — but with a difference.
The moneylender lends money which belongs to him. The banker lends money
which does not belong to him.
The bankers are honourable people for of such is the
House of Lords.
