The easiest way to kill a
human being is to destroy his will to live — a form of murder which is
not illegal. The first step is to destroy his confidence in himself so
that he believes himself dependent on the charity of his superiors and
loses the belief in his own value as an individual. In concentration
camps only the strongest personalities were able to resist this form of
self—annihilation.
This is exactly the form
of propaganda which the two Tory parties are applying to Scotland. We
are resisting!
The Tories are Unionists
though the Union which gave them their name has been dissolved. They are
imperialists who lost their Empire. They are Conservatives who will soon
have nothing to conserve.
When Lord Thomson bought
the Scotsman he had its property valued and discovered that he had
bought the paper for nothing. Then he found in STV a means "of
coining money". The fact is that Scots are unaware of Scotland's
assets and opportunities because the Tories of the Labour and
Conservative Parties have pursued a successful campaign of belittling
this country. Lord Thomson had not suffered this process.
Sir John Monteith was one
of the Scots who distinguished themselves by their bravery ON THE
SCOTTISH SIDE, at Bannockburn.
Think of this when you
tend to give up. Willie Ross and Gordon Campbell are not beyond
redemption.
The Tory argument put
forward by both Unionist parties is that Scotland should renounce its
national rights in return for subsidies paid by the English.
This is the morality of
the prostitute.
