home-grown tech experts at the 2025 ScotlandIS ScotSoft conference and
Young Engineers Awards dinner represents a powerful microcosm of what
the country has to offer when it comes to providing innumerable
cutting-edge technological innovations to the international marketplace.

ARXA CYBER
This clever tech outfit describes itself as the "cyber MSP for IT MSPs"

burden for their clients - often without the support, leadership or
frameworks they need.
Built by a recognized Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with
extensive MSP and VAR experience the Edinburgh outfit’s expertise is
three-fold.
Secure MSPs themselves and their services, deliver white-labelled
virtual(v)CISO and other services for clients, and provide cybersecurity
advisory services in flexible ways.
Company founder Jordan Schroeder stresses it is not "another add-on
service." Rather it represents a movement to level up the MSP industry.
The UK's Cyber Security & Resilience Bill together with initiatives
including the ScotlandIS ITMPS Best Practice Charter - MSPs now have the
opportunity to lead by example "not just follow," Jordan adds.
CYBER LOCK

Start-Up Company" it coincided with the first anniversary celebrations
of the business with over 100 certifications conducted for clients

the ever-evolving world of cyber security."
Cyber Lock warns attacks are getting more sophisticated. So the right
cyber security team is necessary to ensure one's data is safe and
secure. How? Through "top-of-the-line" solutions to give peace of mind

hand-in-hand with excellent content. Only then can a great learning
experience be delivered.

corporations.

climate solutions to digital marketing, data management, blockchains and
recruitment.

targets: "Even a small company can make a big impact"
NET DEFENCE
Based in Stirling the company is centred on helping clients to fortify
their digital defences and protect valuable assets from cyber risk, by
ensuring an informed, secure and resilient business.
Head of Operations Craig Hester says that when it comes to cyber
resilience a client is supported to enable the business to identify,
prepare, protect, detect, respond, and recover from threats and attacks.
Cyber security has become one of the most pressing challenges for the
accountancy sector where threats are increasing in scale, sophistication
and impact. They're prime targets as they handle large volumes of
highly-sensitive and confidential information.
A single breach can result in financial penalties, reputational damage,
loss of client trust and regulatory investigations. Net Defence says all
this can be avoided. A legal practice, for example, can manage risk
involving supply chains and cyber threats that have shifted from an
emerging concern to a current threat.
Modern supply chains are more exposed than ever facing a broad spectrum
of risks from economic uncertainty and political instability to natural
disasters and supplier failures. Each can have a significant impact on
operational continuity and resilience.
OSP CYBER ACADEMY
The Group is all about elevating a client's data protection game where,
in today's digital age such often highly sensitive information
represents one of the most valuable assets a company possesses.
With such an invaluable resource comes great responsibility - to
safeguard it against breaches, leaks and misuse. Founder & Managing
Director Thomas McCarthy: "This is where robust data protection training
steps in."
With the proliferation of cyber threats and stringent data protection
regulations investing in such protection has become a necessity rather
than a luxury. It must be all about compliance confidence, cultivating a
culture of security, mitigating risks, building trust, empowering the
team.
"Investing in data protection training is not just a legal requirement -
it's a strategic imperative," he adds. "Arm your team with the knowledge
and skills they need to safeguard sensitive information,"
In today's data-driven world that's a competitive advantage worth
investing in, reports the NCSC-assured cyber/information managed service
provider from its UK-wide business operating out of Aberdeen
The above collective gathering makes it digitally crystal clear
Scotland is more than set fair to compete on the global stage...
