So Saturday morning and Andy Anderson picked
me up for our morning picture shoot and the first picture was of the local
CalMac ferry...

And as you can see it was a beautiful sunny
day :-)

These pictures are from just up the road from
the Uig Hotel

![](images/skye2%20014_small.jpg)
These are all views around Trotternish and you
can just make out the hills of Harris in the Western Isles on the horizon

![](images/skye2%20020_small.jpg)
The picture to the right is of the Fairly Glen
![](images/skye2%20022_small.jpg)
![](images/skye2%20024_small.jpg)
This is where we clambered up and down the
hills to get a site of a nice wee waterfall
![](images/skye2%20026_small.jpg)
And that's Andy Anderson in the foreground. I
might add just as I was about to take the picture of the waterfall my wee
camera came up with the message... "Battery Exhausted" <arrghhh!!!>

![](images/skye2%20032_small.jpg)
![](images/skye2%20034_small.jpg)
![](images/skye2%20036_small.jpg)
And this is the building where Flora MacDonald
and Bonnie Prince Charlie entered when they reached the shore. It was the
barracks of the local soldiers.
