Attached is an article I´ve put together on the clan´s experiences during the ´45.
It contains the most up-to-date information on those who took part – the tally now stands at over 40 – aswell as historical accounts of the Rising from the perspectives of Glenoe, Badenoch and other Macintyre groups.
The information relating to Glenoe comes from primary sources, at NAS and NLS, and the story is told for the first time. Some of the secondary information will be familiar to readers from a broad range of sources, though it´s the first account, I think, that brings it together to form a distinctly clan-based view of events.
