Donna's Poems
Poetry

By Kharis
August 22, 2002

Poetry comes from the heart
Rhyming lines from the tongue do depart
Some may say what words of eloquence you speak
I say just baring my soul not for critique
How do you speak such words divine
Just in my nature or maybe given my bloodline
It feels so natural almost so
Like the clouds that come with the rain on us to bestow
The wind and thunder and lightening
The best comes when my heart is pouring
But always something majestic does follow
Like the green grass and bright flowers all aglow
Laughter love and pain all in my lifetime
Leave you to read my affable little rhyme
