This is a poem I have had
hanging over my sink for years and the women in my family love it.
Do not become emotionally
involved with your dirty dishes
For although your hands may swim like fishes
They can never be your friend,
Though you may know of them no end.
You may wish to rant and rave
But for your emotions better you save
For something of finer truer wishes
Than a stack of dirty old dishes.
