Feeling Good

FEELING GOOD - DOING GOOD ?

[Composed by John in honour of his finding hundreds of blood relatives around the globe]
[The midi tune is 'You make me feel so young']

[Short Introduction]

We should be feeling good,
Now we know we are all from one brood,
And ev'ry time we get more news,
Become much kith-close cosmopolitans.

These days now as we write,
Not out of mind though out of sight,
We learn more of all the family roots,
Their stories and their shoots.

You, and I, attempting as ev'ry day dawns,
To type right across the airways,
Lifting veils from lots of our vague bygones.

We're making each feel so glad,
When we are sending photos, good ones or bad,
Happy or sad, plus some mem'ries that we feel that we should ....
Share before the mists of age drift o'er
Lots past joys, pains to hide e'ermore.

Thus ...
Sure ...
We do so much that's good !

YOU MAKE ME FEEL SO YOUNG

You make me feel so young
You make me feel as though spring has sprung
And every time I see you grin
I'm such a happy in-div-dual

The moment that you speak
I wanna go play hide and seek
I wanna go and bounce the moon
Just like a toy balloon

You and I are just like a couple of tots
Runnin' across the meadow
Pickin' up lots of forget me nots

You make me feel so young
You make me feel there are songs to be sung
Bells to be rung
And a wonderful spring to be sprung
And even when I'm old and grey
I'm gonna feel the way I do today
'Cos you make me feel so young
