Bella Vista Lyrics and other poems
Charming Bella Vista

Oh Charming Bella Vista
   We love the balmy nights
In our cozy little trysta
   On pisgah's rugged heights.

We love thy shades and shadows,
   Thy mountains verdant green,
Thy rippling brooks and meadows
   Lend enchantment to the scene.

Thy gushing icy fountains
   And caverns cool and grand
Beneath the jagged mountain
   Extend a luring hand.

We love thy winding highways
   Around the mountain crest,
   Thy shady nooks and byways.
And vales inviting rest.

We love thy mystic voices
In the anthems of the night,
When thy bubbling brook rejoices
With a song that seraphs write,

We love thy sacred whispers
   Borne by the gentle breeze,
That woo us to the vespers
   Beneath the temple trees.

Dedicated to Lindbarger Bros.
