Donna's Poems
Old Towns

Old towns, old buildings of rack and ruin speak.
They whisper and tell histories as their boards creak.

Are there still echoes of another era's share,
Do your hall hold memories and of where,

Vibrations of lives and loves of another time,
Or maybe shadows of  some other kind?

Or is the fear there of our own inadequacies,
To push ahead, pick up, restore these histories.
