Donna's Poems
Wind on the Hill

You come and knock at my door.
Unquestionably you've been here before.
I'm not answering to your request
You are intrusive and unwanted at best.

Bump and thump at the loose door,
Threaten to come in, walk across the floor.
Turn up the furnace because your breath is cold,
You make my bones to ache, I feel old.

If on your way you would creep,
I could surely fall off to sleep.
Don't you know you are a pest
Leave me alone, let me rest.
