Today is white as the night is
dark,
All lovely yards could be a park.
Covering them is the snow, that of white,
White, white, as too, the night's dark is right.
The only value of dark that can be seen,
Are branches of cedar and in between.
There the contrast is of such,
Our eye is rewarded so much.
It isn't the snow to hold us with total delight,
It is simply the white, white, strong as night.
